Online presentation tool

Since reading 'Beyond Bullet Points' by Clive Atkinson, I have started to enjoy creating presentations again. Instead of them being a chore at work, they are now good fun. Instead of turning a PowerPoint slide show into a Word document and displaying it, I now turn words into images to make the presentation more engaging than I have ever managed before.

I took another leap forward in creating best presentations recently by using an online tool cool 'SlideRocket' which is a fine application combining the ease of a simply interface, the power and convenience of the 'cloud' and the availability of images through Flickr.

You still need to make sure you use a story board before you start creating your slides, but, once you have done the hard work of knowing what you want to say, SlideRocket is easy to use, powerful and quick.

When you publish your slide show, if you have subscription to the service, it collects information on who is viewing your deck, how long they spent on it and what they thought of it if they leave comments.

When you are carrying out a live, online presentation, it tells you when the new slide has appeared on your viewers' screens.

In short, it's a brilliant application. Take a look at a presentation I ran online today and let me know what you think.
